From our constant interaction with orphanages in India, we realized that their major struggle is receiving donations on a regular basis. Every month, they worry if they can buy sufficient food and supplies for the children. This is why we started the ADOPT-AN-ORPHANAGE™ Program.
This Program provides:
1. Nutritional Supply: We provide monthly grocery items like rice, lentils, wheat, oil, sugar, etc. We do monthly visits to ensure that rations are properly accounted for and used for the benefit of the children.
2. Children Educational Assistance: Orphans are given educational support at the start of the academic year through school fees, textbooks, notebooks, stationery, school bags, uniforms and shoes.
3. In-Kind Donation: We supply items like clothing, blankets, beds, toiletries and other basic items to meet the needs of the children.
4. Medical Aid: We financially support poor children and orphans for surgery or for any medical need like first-aid boxes, medicines, and annual health camps.
