Our Core Programmes

In the eyes of a child we see a nation’s potential.Hope for the Children Foundation (HFCF) ardently believes that education is the key that will open up multiple doors of opportunities for the children who are our beneficiaries.

Poverty drives many parents to side-step school in order to gain a working hand and an earning member in their child. Thus, attendance in most municipal and government schools is often abysmally low, especially among the girls.

Having studied the issue in-depth, HFCF took up the cause of education on two levels – to Inspire and Empower – through our various programs.
We target children who are either school dropouts or on the verge of dropping out of the formal system of education and gently help them integrate with the system. These children come from single mother families and from a very vulnerable background.

Our approach involves nutritional support in the form of daily meals, monthly food grains, medical aid, educational support and mentorship programs for the children; awareness and literacy programs, vocational training and other forms of humanitarian aid for the mothers.

Our core programs are Shiksha Ki Asha and Disha Darshan for children and Atmanirbharata and Social Entrepreneurship for women. These core programs are supported by various supporting programs such as family counseling, monthly medical check-ups, recreational activity, various training and soft skill sessions, micro finance and micro insurance to help women regain their independence.

Our grassroots reach out and knowledge programmes are processed continuously, from which we cull case studies and data to improve upon and expand our programmes to ensure that our support to orphanages, shelter and schools continues to be meaningful and effective.
