To ensure that no child goes hungry is one of the important aspects of HFCF’s work. Nutrition is an integral part of holistic development. We provide daily nutrition to the Shiksha ki Asha children and also give monthly ration for single mothers belonging to the community we work with. Thus we appeal individuals, Corporates and groups to make an effort to drive this campaign and donate or collect rice, wheat, pulses, legumes, oil, sugar, groundnut and jaggery to support this nutrition bases projects.
HFCF’s feeding programs and nutritious meal provisions have been active in urban as well as rural parts of Maharashtra. The effort is to support more and more NGOs and cover wider community stretches through various programs, needy orphanages, single women and community people.
Throughout the year, we encourage people to conduct food grain collection drives in their offices. This is a powerful tool for collective action.
Grains collected from a number of people add up to a large contribution pool for our monthly feeding programs to children living in orphanages and our learning programs.
You may collect or donate Rice, Wheat, pulses, Oil, Sugar, Groundnut and Jaggery. You may contribute ½ kg or more (in multiples of 1 kg). Pack-sealed packets with the contents and quantity clearly mentioned on it will be collected by HFCF.
